Our Leadership
Spencer Paving is truly a family owned and operated business. Our company was founded many years ago by Barney and Melody Smith. Melody is currently the president of our company and guides the business to be the best it can be for both our employees and our customers.
Over the years Melody’s son, Bret, has taken a leading role at our company as well. Bret is our very knowledgeable Vice-President. Not only does Bret function in this role, he is also our Lead Paver Operator and Site-Forman. Ultimately, he is a man that wears many (hard) hats.
While Bret takes care of all the operations out in the field, our office is directed by our office manager, Evelyn. Our Management Team keeps the business organized and running smoothly all while maintaining a pleasant workplace environment.
At Spencer Paving we believe that equality and inclusion are important and we love to have people with a wide-range of knowledge on our team. We always keep an open-mind when listing to our teammates and clients. This is what helps us make sure that we provide the best products, complete the most well-done projects, and stay true to the vision created all those years ago by Barney and Melody.
